Texas here I come!

Slowly but surely I'm moving my stuff (junk) to Texas.
Being over the hill, (55) I have some fear of change.
I know I'm with friends, but still one wonders what the future will hold for this ol' bull.
Will I still be of worth here?
Can I be useful to the small group of friends that have asked me to join them?
Things are going fairly well here, and I'm trying to do much. So this isn't an 'emo rant'.
But still late at night.. I have to wonder what next year will bring.

Understand how you feel ... similar situation, moved ... blind and trusting. Find the chores and errands they don't want to do and do those. They'll value your service. They'll need your wisdom and willingness to be an understanding ear when they need to unburden. May you continue to be blessed their company. I envy you.
I still have my farm there. And will need to come back and mow if nothing else.
And while we disagree, I'm still commented to helping Morphicon, and will return for that.
The future is a bit of a blessing and a curse, it allows for change and growth but can also be the road down a path of pain and mistakes. You know what though? I've met you, and even within that short time I know for CERTAIN, without a single doubt, that there will be nothing but opportunity for you. You are a kind, thoughtful, helpful person and those are assets and always valuable. Just the simple fact that you worry about being useful, helpful and involved means that you will be exactly those things. =)
*hugs* I know for me there's at lest the selfish excitement over your closer proximity. Makes visits easier, and I gotta say I am really looking forward to visiting you all the farm.
There's always need for good people in one's life, never forget your value, even if sometimes you can't see it that clear. =)
Now if I could only take my own advice. XD
