Support Net Neutrality: Some links and an email script.
In all honesty I'm not at all versed in what the heck is going on with this stuff, but I REALLY don't want to pay MORE to contact my friends or share my art on social media, I NEED Commissions, I Literally pay for my medical bills and house bills with the money I make from the internet. So if there's a chance that I have to pay more or I can't talk to my friends, share my work, lose my ability to fulfill commissions, and lose access to information like "GOOGLE" I'm gonna share all the crud I keep seeing all in one spot.
Support Net Neutrality with these fun links and quick scripts. (I'm doing most of these, feel free to check their integrity before you use some of them!)

I'm skeptic on all of this. I feel like it's pretty obvious making people pay for internet or making that a possibility isn't going to sit well with the public, but go politely voice your opinion just in case, I mean it can't hurt. Just be careful about how you do it.
If you know of any more methods, please share.
Also, commissions will open up after Thanksgiving week, yup yup. I'll post a journal but this is pretty important
Share if you want! Copy paste, link, whatever.
Do I know what kind of thing they want to do by getting rid of Net Neutrality? NO IDEA, but I feel like they might use it to make more money 'cause thats what everyone does. Should I learn more about it? Totally. Am I totally just following the mob of internet people on this matter? You bet I am. But can't hurt if you do things politely and be careful so what the heck.

It sounds like... a monopoly. If they have an option to not allow yahoo/google or shopping sites such as etsy, or even just limited access to those things behind a paywall I'm screwed.
I'm not a big service like Netflix with a lot of customers or large competition. I'm lucky if I sell one or two things. If an ISP can say "OH, to shop on etsy you need our "Shopper bundle" thats a drastic drop in potential people I might be able to make stuff for, and they make all the money? Is that what this is? Because thats what it feels like. I'm not liking it no sir. Signing every petition I can and email as many people as I can, heck I'll swallow my fear of speaking and talk on a phone.
Just the idea that something like a "package" could be available for something we've had for so long is baffling.
This would be the next step into a cyberpunk future.
Thanks!
You can filter by state and then contact your local senator.
In regards to more "legalese" friendly ways to show your support for Net Neutrality, you can use my template:
"I urge you, Senator, to please make the effort to stop the FCC's Head Ajit Pai and his colleagues from going through on removing the Obama Era Net Neutrality Title II rules.
Keeping the internet & ISPs listed as Title II utilities ensures that the internet and access to it remains a fair and open playfield for competition which is paramount to encouraging economic growth.
Some of the biggest leaders in tech that are some of the juggernauts of the American economy such as Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft are behind keeping Net Neutrality Title II rules in place which speaks volumes to the effect on our economy.
Also considering just how intertwined the internet is to american life (i.e. Americans working, communicating, educating themselves and more) through the internet its in the best interest of everyone to keep it regulated out of corporate ISP oligopolys. Furthermore the UN considers broadband internet access a human right, and if some american's can't afford inflated internet access costs due to the net neutrality rules being removed then that further stunts the economic and social mobility of americans in general."
