Hexagon has been "free" for quite some time now. Along with Bryce and, of course, Studio.

... I'd still use Blender over these.

The 'free' has been on-again off-again, which was why I thought I'd let people know.

And Bryce 7 Pro is still $19.95 as of right now.

As to Blender, use what you know/like the best. I've seen lots of youtube videos showing how to play in all of them.

And it seems DAZ is giving away 'gifts' every four hours this weekend!

Bryce 7 Pro has been on the same on-again, off-again kind of "free" for many years - at least since 2011.

Personally, I always felt that DAZ software was clearly made to funnel people into buying content for it, rather than giving them the best tools to make their own.

It is, but there's a lot of other sites with free and for cash content. And there's a lot you can do with free.

(I've had an account since '10, didn't pay for anything until last year. )

Heh, I found I still have an account with Daz, and own quite a few programs through that, bryce, hexagon, daz studio pro and so on. I also managed to find and at least access my chaotic mess of poser file archives and while it won't work on windoze 10, I will eventually retrograde this pc to run windoze 7 pro (Which it will work on) and build a new pc to my new standard... (At least, I will if I ever get the money for it )
Sadly, my copy of 3ds max and certain other programs were permanently lost when the pc they were on went kablooie...
But that particular bit of bad luck's already been lamented about, so I'll simply have to start again... eventually.

Keep picking up the free when they offer it, you can use it later.

Well, every 4 hours this weekend they're offering 5-6 items that you can get one free - or 3 of them free if you buy a new release (so far I haven't seen one 'must have', much less three of them! )
