Im bred so here's a list in no particular order
10. Gunbuster vs the STMC

7 parts enemy, 3 parts space... that was how the number of the enemies were referred to when they were sighted just outside the Solar system. In order to stop their advance, the Earth government made one last gambit... to self destruct the Degeneracy Engine of the decommissioned Earth flagship "Exelion" aside from it, the Earth had just one other unit that could guard it until it could reach the main enemy mass... the Gunbuster.

-PROTOCULTRE! Lynn Minmei sings the final rallying cry of the last of humanity against Gorg Bodolza. The song affects the Zentran and the Meltran armies... two eons old warrior races into realizing that they share a common ancestry with the humans and turns on Bodolza. "Let us return culture to ourselves!"
The concept is so ridiculous its AWESOME.

This is my fave scene in the series, the only other scenes that come close is Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken and Kyoji's death.

I'll have to admit the reason this is in my list right now is because I cant find a clip of the final battle of Macross Frontier when Ranka and Sheryl does the Nyan Nyan Service medley. So here's another favorite instead... when Alto visits Shertl Nome with Ranka Lee in the hospital, the two pop stars start a territorial song fight over Alto's heart. Also with regards to the shipping thing... Ranka x Alto x Sheryl FTW.

The enemy, Siberian railways VP Kashmir is using a mecha that makes thoughts audible, this means that there is no strategy that can be hidden against him. Gainer develops a method to defeat him though... by continuously confessing his love to his friend Sarah and annoying Kashmir to no end and forcing him to turn off the thought hearing machine.

Ive never really found the Sol Kings as compelling villains, but I do love the brutality that Gai puts up in his fight against Palparepa. You can regenerate? So what? I'll just keep beating the living crap out of you until you stop regenerating!

Asuka's down but not out... she doesn't have an umbilical cord and only 5 minutes of reserve energy facing 9 mass production Evangelions... bring it on. Easily the best fight in the series... uhh... movie. Though I may be replacing this with the Zeruel fight in the Evangelion rebuild movies when i get a clear subbed copy f it.
