I've heard a few people use the term intersexed for that, since it's not exactly trans? and yeah, aside from c-boy and it's counterpart futanari, most other descriptor words for that seem pretty... eh, derogatory?

Funnily enough, much as I did use the term cuntboy for this very character a long time ago it was never considered derogatory, though I do understand how people would see it that way. Mainly since "cunt" is a word often use as an insult, so I understand that. But while I have thought of intersex/intersexed I've also had people get shitty on that term too. ;u;

I want to be able to tag this without bugging too many people but it's such a hotbutton topic these days XD

I'd suggest having his gender & sex separate, like "gender: male/he/him" and then "sex: intersex/trans (unless he's not trans, then i'd suggest intersex)" so that it comes clearly that he is not defined by the genitals, which could be seen as fetishizing. Intersex can be many things, not just having a dick & a vag, so I think that would be the best way to describe his body type.

See the act of "fetishizing" is the problematic aspect for me. I LOVE writing character interaction, but at the end of the day I also am a porn artist, I love drawing my characters in pornographic settings. ;u;
But you are right, and it's refreshing to see someone recognize that sex and gender are separate from one another. <3

Unfortunately, it's kind of a matter of what you're trying to get across, but I'll give it a shot.

If your character is meant SPECIFICALLY as a fetish character, OR if you're among people you trust are cool about the term, "cuntboy"/"cboy"/"cboi" tends to get thrown around.
If your character is meant to be TRANS in any extent, then you use the trans* suite: "FtM", "pre-op transmale".
If your character is meant to be (what I call) TRANS-AESTHETIC, so the type to be heavy into stereotypical Tumblr styles of self-representation, then you can use stuff like "vagentleman" and that stuff.
If you're not meaning to make ANY statement on the character at all, then the best thing to use may be "male with vagina".

Otherwise, you can always just put a line at the top or bottom of the description that he is a male, full stop. The "hope for the best" option.

I'm leaning towards just having him be referred to as male pronouns and having him have a vagina.
The character isn't a statement, and it's not a trans character either. While I'm not sure if I'll ever explore him in a full story yet (Since I'm garbage at planning ahead) he is a character that has a strange body but never lets that vagina define him.

Hey, you'd be surprised what a little time and coincidence would do for a character! Speaking from experience here; one of my characters, a transmale, was almost an accident??? But I took the time to think about him, and it worked out! And the best characters never mean to be a statement, they just exist. So I wouldn't worry too much on it.

I think intersex is going to be your best bet. Honestly i didn't even know cuntboy wasn't the term since I've seen a few ocs being referred to by their owners as such.

I referred to him as such when I first made him around 5 years ago or so. Things are just different now and I'd rather not have this character whom I love a ton become something that I don't want to draw simply due to controversy about the terms being thrown around ;n;

Aside from cuntboy and futanari, it is like PartyThyme says; I can only think of intersex as another term. However, I've really only seen "intersex" used alongside one of the former two.

I also respect and applaud the desire to avoid offending anyone, but this is still the internet and pretty much no matter what happens someone is going to be offended by something.

I personally would just call him a cuntboy since its a term that is more prevalent and, in the case of the character, physically accurate.

Now I can see why someone would be offended by the terminology itself, but what they also need to remember is that they have control of how they take offence to things. In this instance for example there is nothing offensive. You are using a term to refer to a male character with female genitalia(especially since you've elaborated on that fact). Nothing more, nothing less. If they decide to spin that into the whole argument of it refurring to FtM trans that have not gotten bottom surgery, then they are likely just being overly sensitive or looking to start a fight.

I'm not advocating any kind of hate speech or other derogatory behavior, I'm just trying to close the gap on how it is and isn't offensive.

Yeah I honestly understand where you're coming from. I've never meant to use cuntboy in an offensive way, it's just the term that got made to make it easy for people to understand what they were looking at.
More than anything else, I want this character to be one that people like because he's sweet and cute, not because he's a statement or a means of fetishizing a certain body type.

I've been consulting my FtM friend(as when it comes to terminology I actually barely keep up with the ever-changing meanings) and he recommends intersex despite my argument. My moral compass is just too consistent me thinks. x_x

Forget about offending people since in this age you're going to do it by simply existing. This is the internet after all.

Male with intersex bits seems to work fine for what you want, just my 2 cents.

My boy Grimmi is a male with a vulva and I just call him male/he/him. Tagging wise, I use intersex. I know people call him a cboy and all that but I personally always call him a "male".

Regardless though, it's really up to you and how you want your characters to be identified as. There are always going to be some people that can't be satisfied so it's up to you. Just as long you remain respectful that other people may not want their characters to be addressed as such.

I also use him in porn too.

well, if "cunt" is the problem, just swap it out and call him a vajboy/pussboy
