QUESTION: couple adopts! what do you prefer?

so, i was thinking about doing some couple/pairing adopts with my lovely wife gillbear !
i was curious though, what do ppl mostly prefer with them?
do you like when they match aesthetically and look similar/like they match or do you like unlikely couples, that their designs might clash, but would be thematically interesting? or maybe both? :0c do you like if theyre specific or more left to the imagination?
just any ideas or feedback would be super helpful! we will be trying these soon and i just want to have some ideas to work with, but never done this before and i don't know the general preference for it.. so feel free to let me know your thoughts!
