I'm sorry to hear about your loss.... Take the time you need.

A loss of someone close to any of us will have a profound and lasting impact. The initial reaction one has is never what is expected but is needed. Do what feels best for you, and take the time you need to greive and do so in what way is best for you. Do not allow others to force on you their own ideas on how you should mourn or for how long, I have lost someone very close and there will be others who will try as I learned will happen. They have good intentions but they have not experienced things in the same way you have and therefore do not know what it is like for you to experience this loss the way you have, so take the advice with a grain of salt, and follow your own heart on what feels like the best way for you.

However, please remember that you are never truly alone. No matter what.
