I actually love throwing a few keywords and let artists do their magic ;D
YCHs or themed commissions are fun too! I simply like seeing various interpretations of my OCs ;o;

I prefer commissions myself because ychs may not always fit my character.

And free theme commissions are fun! Maybe ask the commissioner to provide one or two words describing their character's personality, or a theme they want so the artist has freedom to draw the character the way you want them to look

I love pictures that feel ALIVE.
They can show a story. Describe a scenery. Capture a vivd moment. Show the tension of something epic, or the content of a day-to-day life.
I have seen hundreds, if not thousends of simple potraits, with a smug smile, a mean stare, or sad tears. But often lack the magic, in lack of better words.
YCH are nice, sure, but often enough they don't feel like they really capture anything to me. Some even feel generic.
For some comissions I plan I have already some more specific ideas, for others less. But in general I want to leave the artist as much freedom as possible, because I this means they can put more of their own soul into it. Which is why I comission them in the first place.

I guess it's a matter of stamina/focus in that case. Because you definitly got the skills!

I like YCHs, so I can see what I'm getting first. Though, so far, I've been pretty delighted by art trades.
As an artist, I've always enjoyed when I get to wing-it, but I understand it might be a bit of a gamble.
I don't usually commission story based pieces because it's pricey for my current income. But one day!
