Not too far removed from my own, Albeit much shorter / less technologically advanced / largely hostile to theisim / short lived (45 years to 60 years for a sek) people who find consciousness sacred (and modification of that consciousness as being "True death" even if the body lives so no biotics)
Also similar - Sur'ri have Black sclara and coloured iris's - though that would seem a rare trait (Surri are exceedingly uncommon in the Sekian races - only 741 living before their war to end wars - 347 after)
That said, I love the four-eared creatures and space faring stuffs :P
I never read anything about your race, hope they're not too similar to your own! Thanks for taking the time to look over them though, means a bunch to me they people are willing to do so!
If a Rutikal can survive somewhere they're going to at least want to poke their head in and see what it's like, and while they're good at saving space they like to have extra of it. I guess it would be more of like Rutikal rule the universe and leave a few desert worlds for the Sek to live on
I'm sorry I saw an opportunityhttp://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8511086/ (bit of a read)

Right now they have a single world that is being populated by the crew of the Rama (the second generation ship)
