I remember this sort of thing happening to me occasionally. The hands, faces, eyes, hair, etc. will sometimes just look like it's not yours.

I normally see it when I draw for too long and too hard at a time or when I have art block and force myself to draw for the sake of drawing my way out of it.

I can see it as well when i'm improving, and it doesn't look like my old art. It's nice when it's an improvement, but still odd at first.

IDK, maybe stepping back for a moment might help? Do something you like for a while, listen to good music, eat something, whatever for a while, then come back.

Of course, time away depends on yourself. For me, it's a few days, week or two at the most. Others need to just step away and go out to eat before they're good to go. You know you, so do what's best.

Also, since this might be a reason, when you're rushing art (like your YCH you want to get done quickly) and know you have a due date for when to post and when to complete, you can make yourself stressed, so your art suffers.

I actually tried to do art saturday and had this issue, so I've been playing video games since. Today it just looks alien.

Rather than stop and do something else, I've decided to draw through it. See what it ends up looking like. So I'll have a bunch of strange looking heads posted soon.

Who knows, maybe they'll fit my new torsos a bit better. lol

So, since you're gonna draw through it and I KNOW you can record it, here's smoethign that might help

You've seen yourself draw before (it's on youtube even), so why don't you record how you draw the heads now and compare side by side?

This was a sort of personal thing I did and it improved my art, but it also let me see my mistakes as I drew them, and (while I don't think you stream) it let me see how I present my drawing as I do so.

Maybe seeing how you drew then and how you're drawing now might let you see where things are starting to go down or where you start doing things differently? Let's you pinpoint where you're making your mistakes and when, and you can think of how to fix it.
