WINTER TIME! TEA AND SWEATER SEASON! HOT COCOA SEASON! SNOW SEASON!
Hello all! Now that is has been over a month since my last journal, I think it is high time I give everyone the low-down for the next few months that I have planned...lots has happen, and lots needs to improve.
Firstly though, I got myself into something fun for the first time ever for this lovely month of December, and I have signed up for TWO different Secret Santas! And have already got my receivers set up, just need to get going on figuring out what to do for each of them. This is going to be so fun, and I can't wait to see what I receive in return! ♥

Secondly, thanks to the few patrons I have gotten since I opened my commissions -one couple in particular that kept coming back for more....I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT TABLET!!!! So I can do digital art again! Which makes me so happy, cause I have so many things that I want to experiment with, and get done all of the owed art I have.

Which leads me to the most important part of this journal, as much as I don't want to do it...but I have found that I am not as prepared as I wanted to be for taking commissions....SO I AM CLOSING MY COMMISSIONS. Probably until the end of February. Before that of course, I will be finishing the last set of comms I do have, because they deserve that much, but I am NOT taking any more after that. I need to plan out so many things better....
I need to set myself some more consistent time limits per piece.
I have been thinking about converting to working an hourly rate because of this...because I have very quickly realized that I am pretty severely underselling myself. Some things will stay a set rate, like my badges and icons and maybe a couple other things.
I need to get more adopts put out for my Adoptables Account, cause I haven't done that in ages.
I need to get more art done in general to put on my RedBubble, which I have done even less for.
I've been debating making an Art Facebook or just make my own website on Weebly or Wix or something.
There's just too many things I need to improve before I can even remotely feel comfortable taking any more commissions, cause you people deserve my best, and I cannot give that right now...and that makes this tired momma durgs self-esteem plummet hardcore. So I need to work on myself, for myself, and do the things that I want to do for a little while, and learn as I go.

I'll have those last few commissions ready to post soon! And I may consider streaming my personal work on Picarto after they are finished, so keep a watch out for my Streaming signage!

So yeah, I think that's it. Hopefully the child will slow down a bit, and give me some much needed art time during the day too...instrad of me having to stay up until the wee hours of the morning to feel like I made any sort of progress. Motherhood is hard anyways, but when you're trying to juggle art on top of that as a little side job.....Oooo, boi. I digress though, thanks to all who even pay attention to my severe lack of art and general updates, and stick with me anyways! ♥
