Dear Santa

General
This year I wish you bring me..
Turian pills. Like seriously, they'd make my life so much more entertaining.
===
On a more serious note, I wanted to replace that old journal and get something more amusing on my front page. Now, if you read that journal this far, first of all I'm thankful you got past my inconditional love for Turians and all kinds of metamorphoses that lead to being one, and wanted to know more about the journal itself.
This autumn has not been very easy for me. Although I cannot complain about life or work, I got a rather bad art block during November, hence why the reduced amount of submitted artwork on my various pages.
The mood for drawing is slowly coming back, but the cold is hitting pretty badly here and in the evening I now more often feel like going to bed than sitting at my desk for hours and shuddering because my heaters won't make up for the low temperatures.
We got our first snows. For once it happened before Christmas which is something fairly rare now here. It made me in the mood for lighting some candles and work while listening to christmas songs. That and to drink hot chocolate as well.
I'm missing my little polls and journals I used to do. This year unfortunately I cannot do a raffle or open commissions. But I'd like to hear some suggestions for next year's projects, either with portraits or TF art. Be creative =) after all these years I think you all know what I like
Cheers!

FA+

I would like some animals ones here :p
And good luck with all of that. I know the struggle.
I guess somes you'e not used to? To test new things?
And I'd suggest some of my favourite, animal TFs! MOREEE of 'em! XD
But obviously you should work on what you like yourself most first! <3
Joyeux Noël cousin Français! J'espere que ce mois sera meilleur! ^w^
Sérieusement tes super bon continue le travail! <3
As for suggestions... this year I did a thing where every month I did a different writing theme which had TFs that would fit the theme. Ya could do something like that, do a month special where one month it's Pokémon, the next Digimon etc.
For a suggestion, I know you mentioned some distaste in it, but why not some turian tf/tg, lots of possible ways to go about it.
or at the very least, some female turians?
Maybe we can set up something next year, commision wise, to remedy that!
As for inspiration, there’s plenty everywhere!
Like, a human dude trying out a new turian based yoga workout, with a focus on flexibility.
Or a guy playing some Mass Effect, and wondering outloud where his ingame turian squadmate went, with a strangly higher pitched, and flanging voice
Could even be a two human males, chilling after a long day, and one friend decides to breakout some turian tf pills to breakup the boredom. But right after they both down their pill, one friend thinks about how the pills looked a bit pinker that usual.
And since we are currently in season, i’m sure the tf effects of a turian pill still work, even when dissolved in a cup of hot coco. ;)
I would like to see more TF, maybe something not done often, like fish?
It's good to hear you're getting through that block. A natural rise and fall of motivation, ideas, and a desire to draw may not be something you have much direct control over, though, and a low period needn't be considered a failing on your part. The idea that if you aren't sacrificing your wellbeing for the sake of work, you're not doing enough, can be harmful in its own right, and your own wellbeing is more important than producing a constant stream of art for us to gawk at, as appreciated as the pretty pictures are.
As far as ideas are concerned, have you played Titanfall 2? There's some cool beasties in there that would make excellent TF subjects and the setting is pulpy enough sci-fi that IMC or Frontier scientists trying to give their pilots or infantry an edge over the competition by mucking about with alien DNA seems completely within the realm of possibility. There's even the old standby of ancient alien technology to play around with - who knows what exposure to strange and exotic particles might do to someone?
Alternatively; Warhammer Fantasy's lizardmen are a sorely under-tapped opportunity for TF (and art in general, come to think of it). The roster is chock full of lizardpeople and dinosaurs large and small. Lustria is a continent thick with magic and mystery and that's just the temple cities, abandoned and inhabited alike. The Great Plan of the Old Ones can be inscrutable at the best of times, even to the Mage-priests who spend centuries at a time meditating upon it.
Any men who would trespass upon sacred grounds in search of treasure would be oblivious to inscriptions of warding designed to repurpose intruders into guardians.
...I think I better stop here, else I'll keep rambling for ages. May the holidays be good to you!
I used to paint warhammers but I remember when I was younger that the original lizardmen were more looking like toads than lizard to me ^^ But I heard that they were changed, so perhaps I could give them a try again someday! Can always go with Argonians. These are also fairly rarely used in TF art.
The lizards certainly have gone through a few iterations over the years, though these days the only toads in the Lizardmen roster are the lordly Slann Mage-Priests. You've got lizards and dinosaurs of all sizes to play with, from the kobold-sized skinks up to the fuckoff huge carnosaurs and stegadons.
The new Total War game that came out recently means there's a bunch of delicious high-res renders of the staple units along with a lot of footage of them in motion, which is wonderful for a number of reasons (chief among them being that they're GORGEOUS but that's just one of them).
I can't say I'd be disappointed with some more argonian TF, though. I love me some manly lizards, whatever form they take. Skag TF sounds like it'd fascinating, too.
NUUUUUUU think of all the potential Space raptors!?
haha xP
I hope you have a very merry Christmas!
Anyways if Santa was to gift some magic pills I'd go for a surprise mix, TF scenarios where you do not know what to expect are so exciting! A sequence, story or comic where changes pop up in a way that keep you guessing what the final result will be are so fun.
Your FtM TF's are also great, very few other people draw FtM. And none of them draw alien FtM like you do.
Oh and that dinosaur TF you drew was amazing (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22131245/), I'm thinking about writing a story about it if that's alright with you.
