Alrighty, so After listening to this, okay. An issue I'm fairly concerned about is from the dear supporters who will now need to face multiple "Anniversary charges" throughout the month for supporting multiple artists that a number of supporters are vocalizing on the twitter post Patreon made. I really do wonder how this is going to turn out. I'm very curious how this will all turn out.

Im not saying I prefer this system only that I understand it might be necessary in order to get the payment upfront system. People cancelling their pledges is going to affect creators way more than Patreon, and maybe this is a feature that still needs polishing or that might be adjusted. Seeing creators and supporters take precipitated decisions is quite scary atm.

But wait...
I think either I dont understand the image or people are really misunderstanding it. They are going to charge the supporters at the moment they pledge and then unify all pledges in a monthly charge, I think that is what the image is trying to depict.
So if you pledge for the first time say the 14th, the first charge is going to be that day, but then next month is going to be charged the 1st with all the other pledges. (as it is represented with the B dot, which has a fee on the day of the first pledge and then on June 1st, together with the blue dot.
It is NOT going to be a charge for every single pledge in a monthly anniversary from that pledge, if it was so then the green dot wouldn't be in June 1st but much after.

I am currently Participating in the "Charge Upfront" system. Charge upfront currently takes the first fee upfront then converges them at the end of every month. I really enjoy that system. Patreon expressed a concern for the "Double charge" for people who become a patreon at late month, but I have not had a problem or complaint with it because I make sure I have informed new supporters VERY WELL that such a thing will happen, and urge them to wait until the beginning of next month instead. That way it converges at a more timely manner for the supporter.

What Patreon seems to be doing is well... completely messing up the simplicity of all of the three different charge methods. I have no idea how I am supposed to prepare to work my account right now. I'll be seeing how things turn out, but it is all still very concerning.

Yeah. I was getting ready to use a combo of my paypal/kofi Along with moving my supporters to a discord group.Me and my supporters all talked about it and came to that conclusion in order to keep about the same system I had if they didnt change back.

Im super glad they decided not to go through with it.
