Hey guys! The holidays are rolling up fast and there's still SO much to do!
I don't know about you, but I am going to be
socially exhausted inthe next coming weeks.
Saturday we have my boyf's extended family coming up.
Christmas Eve I work and then there will be my extended family at my great grandmothers.
Christmas day with immediate fam and then over to the boyf's with his.
Not to mention visiting friends Christmas day and the few days after...
Driving up to Ohio with some friends for New Years.
And MAGfest is the weekend after!
and i totes havnt finished christmas shopping either omg
What are you guys doing for Christmas and New Years?
Any traditions that you keep?
Or any exciting plans?
I'd love to hear what you guys do for the holidays o(>ω<)o
We're a military family so we're inviting some of my husband's coworkers who can't go home over for dinner on Sunday!
Then I think we're doing Christmas dinner at my neighbor's house??? We can't go home to either of our families this year unfortunately, but we're making the best of it =)

When I lived with my family/we actually had a Christmas tree, we would play the "hide the pickle" game. Basically you'd have a pickle ornament, and one of the parents would hide it. Then the kids go and see who can find it first. Whoever finds it gets an extra Christmas present! [but they'd end up having an extra one for all of us anyways LOL, just so nobody gets sad]
I've heard of that tradition before! I think a friend of a friend's family does that as well.They always seem to have a great time with it.
Me and my mom will go tree shopping for a real tree.
The goal is to find one with a birds nest in it! It's supposed to be good luck, but we did it just for funsies.
usually i'd feel bad for the ones that were kind of small and ugly so i always wanted them... nobody else did though [':
