So this is christmas...

Well it's Christmas Eve, 2017 is nearly over now... and geez, this year. This year.
I thought 2016 was bad, but this year... It ended up being worse. I don't think I need to explain why, anyone who has been following me knows what happened to our family back in May this year. It still hurts 7 months on from now. We've all been sad because of it, but my mother's taken it the worst has fallen into a horrible depression cycle we are still trying our best to get her out of it. I hope this christmas will go down well but... well. When someone you love and should be there is not there, it's impossible to ignore it and it will upset all of us.
If you have time to spare a thought to our family over the holidays, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm doing another steam gift giveaway again this year, didn't have the opportunity last year due to being out a job but this year I have one (It's basically been the only positive in this dire year). I have a big bundle of Steam Games this year, it includes some of my personal favourite games such as Dust: An Elysian Tail, Skullgirls, Freedom Planet, Armello, Chroma Squad, Drawful 2 and Star Wars Battlefront II! Yes, Star Wars Battlefront II, that 2005 classic with no loot boxes in it at all, not one.
Now when I've done these giveaways in the past, there has always been the time-zone issue for many people, not being on at the right time when the giveaway is up and being upset in the process. So this year, you've got one fixed time, New Years Day. First post when it's New Years Day will get first pick of the prize pool. Then second, third, fourth, fifth etc. If you already have the games, you can give the gift to any friend of your choice as a present to them (you can even do that if you don't own the game as well if you are extra generous).

And of course, you can't just make a post to win the prize, that would be too easy, there will be a puzzle to solve as well. I'll be posting 7 Christmas art works to this account, 1 each day between Christmas Day and New Years Eve. in the description for each there will be part of a Christmas Phrase, simply combine all 7 parts and post it when once 2018 has started to claim your prize. Now the order of the phrase might not be immediately obvious, it's not going to be in day order, it will be scrambled. But if you know your christmas songs, I'm sure you can figure out how the phrase goes.
