HIRING COLORIST FOR A WEBCOMIC!

Hello there! I’m searching for a colorist for my Webcomic series Cybersteel!

REQUIREMENTS:
• To have at least a minimum level of expertise as comic colorist (even indie comics)
• Having a good understanding of shading and color theories
• Having a good capacity of creating atmoshperes (daytime, nocturnal, dusk, ecc.)
• Ability to meet specific requirements: making certain characters or shapes pop, creating specific atmospheres, to handle strong contrasts…
• Ability to work in four-color CMYK
• Lines must be seen but they shouldn’t be black!
• CyberSteel is a hurban thriller, so I won’t accept color tests with pop style or with too much pink/purple or pastel colors.
• It’s necessary to keep a sort of stylistic continuity with CyberSteel, especially with the following pages. In case you’re selected, I will provide the PSDs for you to study them. Approximately, there will be around 6/8 panels in each page and backgrounds are not extremely complex.

ACCEPTED STYLES:
✓ Cel-shading with brush
✓ Digital art (tapas.io/episode/524893)
✓ Dark colors with strong contrast (greens, blues and acid hues…)
NOT ACCEPTED STYLES:
✗ Too strong cel-shading with lazo
✗ To much detailed digital painting
✗ Not neat atmospheres (I should understand if it’s night or daytime etc)
✗ Pop colors or pastel colors like purples and pinks
AMOUNT OF WORK:
26 pages (CyberSteel #3 from page 7 to page 30)
PER PAGE PAYMENT:
25€ for each page via Paypal (it’s negotiable and based on your actual capacity)
The price doesn’t include flat colors: pages will be flat colored by

PAGES DELIVERY TIME:
Once you received the page, you should send it back to me colored within 2/3 days.
DEADLINE for all 26 pages:
April 30th 2018

I would prefer one with daily atmosphere, one nocturnal, and alternation between internal and external environments.
