Hear, hear! I spent months preventing Microsoft from installing Windows 10 on my big laptop, and they finally gave up. I still watch every Windows Upchuck and reject the snoopware and the driver updates.

Last I knew, you could still get builder versions of Windows 7 on Amazon. I installed one on my server when I built it a year or so ago.

yeah I had my cousin build my rebuilt craptop (I'm cheap) with macrosux 7...she's a macrosux cheerleader...so...had a HELL offa time getting her to set the "updates" to the "fuck you" settings...

meh I don't do any secure type stuff any ways...
