Happy New Year

Welp, another year has come and gone, which is weird, because it doesn't feel like it was that long ago when I was writing a journal like this for last year : T
Looking back, I think I did pretty good! I've improved a lot with my work and I've been drawing and posting a lot more too, especially in the fall! I think August-October were my strongest months this year. Things kind of tapered off a bit after that though. For those of you who don't know, DJ and myself have been dealing with some health problems since November. Nothing too serious, but it hasn't been making things easy and it's been affecting our work.
For last year's resolutions, I said I was going to set up a Patreon account (which I did, yaaaay), and I said I was going to be more prolific with sketching and doodles, which I kind of did? But probably not to the extent that I wanted to. I also said I would try to be more active on my other media, which, I think I did for Twitter, kind of. But not so much for Tumblr, and I kind of dropped Furry Network. DJ and I have also both been eating better and making better choices, and have shed a fair amount of weight since then, so that's just icing on the cake! I myself have put a bit back on after the holidays, but hey, that happens. I lost it once, I can lose it again.
This year, I'm going to renew that resolution to sketch and doodle more, and I'm going to try and be more consisting with my posting on Patreon. There was only one month where I got all four posts in that I wanted to do, October, and the rest were only one or two updates. I actually haven't posted ANYTHING on there this month, and probably am not going to, but that's why I don't do flat monthly charges for patrons, I shouldn't be taking money for months I don't post as much. (Or at all x.x) Starting January I'm going to try and keep with the intended one post a week, and hopefully that will smooth out my work flow. I need to work on my scheduling and time management skills anyways. So here's to hoping I can pull it off, and 2018 will be an even better year than this one.
