New Year, New Artist???

Everyone does "New Year, New Me" but this is art specific so... it works this way, right? xD
So, there are a few changes I am making to how I do things as an artist this year as part of my resolutions.
1. Stop being a pushover about asking for more for complex characters/outfits/props.
This is going to be a huge focus for me this year. I have a bad habit of "what if they don't want to commission me if I charge for the extra work their character requires?" and it really messes up how much I make from art, sometimes reducing me below minimum wages. This isn't the fault of commissioners, but of myself, and I need to improve upon it. I need to start looking at references and THEN quoting the price, and making sure to state that all prices are subject to additional fees if characters or outfits are complex.
2. Raise prices to have a better wage.
I currently don't make enough to survive where I'm at, and I am a huge mooch on bills because of it. I don't like that. I have to get food stamps, too. I'm still not very well health-wise, so my time for art is limited by stamina very greatly. Many of my simpler art options increased greatly in quality over the years, but I've been very slow and cautious to raise the prices to reflect that and I'm suffering due to it. So I'm raising some prices a little bit for the start of the year, and depending on how things go, hopefully raising them to a goal price midway through the year.
3. Start doing conventions again, try to market myself more?
This is a kind of ambiguous thing for me, but I think if this is going to be my income again, I need to start branching out more and going to conventions and such again. I am hoping to deal at TFF in the artist alley this upcoming February, and hope to add one or two more conventions to my schedule if possible. Possibly DenFur and MFF, I think. I'll figure it out. I guess I should try to get an ad or something, too. Idk. I'll figure it all out. I gotta try to be more serious about things.
Overall, I'm also doing the standard of trying to draw more often, stream more, etc. It's not concrete for me for that due to health issues, though. But I will try to do what I can within my limitations. n_n
With that all, I hope you all had a nice holiday season, and wish you a joyous, prosperous, and healthy new year.
Hang in there, fam.

which con is TFF? Nynaeve and I need to branch out to conventions more, since the ones he used to troll are kinda...turning into MEH right now.? And BLFC is a huge crap shoot right now, due to extremely high demand and not enough tables and attendees in ratio to match the criteria they want. Attendees vs. Vendor ratio or something like that.
