Retiring as an admin/planner from CF
TLDR: I freelance a lot. Half of the time I'm not even in the same state. My schedule is not my own and I can't plan anything more than a week or two if I'm lucky. Even then it changes. The little free time I have I tend to just want to be at home with my partner and my garden.
Between October I have been to five states, plus DC and had to pre-bag up my clothes. I get home, wash stuff, swap out what's in my luggage, and then work on cleaning the house. Maybe watch Youtube and garden. That's been my life lately.
A bunch of my savings lately went into replacing some work equipment, making sure travel expenses, like gas are covered, and however much my car repair is setting me back.
Posted to the Charlotte Furs Facebook and Meetup accounts (Meetup's announcement included links to the Facebook, Furaffinity, and Telegram groups):
Greetings everyone. Sorry for being so quiet lately. Project work and having to travel out of state has been keeping me busy.
When I moved to Charlotte in October 2010, my partner Robert was the only person I knew. Starting in spring 2011, after noticing that a lot of NC furry groups were spread out I began doing what I could to encourage groups here in Charlotte. I put together an account on FurAffinity, joined the Facebook group Devin started, and set up a Meetup group. It’s been nice getting to meet so many people over the years and to work on creating programming with such a great community. Thank you Hitoru, Reverb, Varment, and Surx for currently taking on admin roles and Devin, Hawthorne, and Azure prior.
Today I’m announcing my retirement from these groups. It’s getting harder to predict when I will be available. The Meetup group will remain operational through January; if anyone wishes to continue it, please contact me via Facebook or Meetup prior to February 1st. All of the images from Meetup have been archived on the Charlotte Furs Furaffinity account.

Even though you're relinquishing "command" I certainly hope to see you show up at an event.
