Hello all,
I hope you all had a great time with your friends and family! I wish everyone health, wealth, happiness and love for 2018.
I'm super excited this year since I am getting married in august! Much planning to be done!!! Most things are booked, I'm into details and decor now... Tho I saw an ice cream bar for rental and now I'm trying to see if I could do one myself :P DIY WEDDING!
Completely opposite to that, my grand-mother passed away on the 6th of Jan, we were all with her at the time of her passing. It was quite an experience considering I've lost my uncle two years ago to generalised cancer and then last year was my grand-dad who I was really close to and now my grand-ma. It's life, we are holding each other up and talking about the good times and looking at pictures :)
I am now going back to work all days of the week on commissions and ych! I'm trying out a new timetable, progress on commissions every day and a YCH out everyday! This should clear 5 ych and 2 comms (depending on the size of those) per week!
On the week ends I have to work on my papier maché trees for the wedding decor... don't ask xD I'm also doing wood burning to make keychains as gifts for the guests, all 80 of them =,= all made by hand. Good fun.
We are also stuck in one snowstorm after another here in montreal! can't wait for the temperature to be decent to go skiing! I won't go when it's -35 with the wind =,=
I know everyone that makes resolutions almost always breaks them but here are mine!
-keep going to the gym to loose more weight (gotta fit in that wedding dress!)
-Build my patreon content over time (more animations)
-Introduce my new interactive ychs to the world!
-get married (this should be easy)
-Make decent money with drawing and start treating it like a job! (this way people will stop saying I don't have a job)

I am sorry for your loss. :( I know how it feels, as I lost my granny a few years back. I still miss her, even it has been some time now.
And interactive YCHs? Sounds interesting! ^^
Yus I have dress-up games, lifting skirts, pulling down panties and the likes ^^

Not sure if the question about our resolutions is meant to be rhetorical, but I'll go ahead and answer it:
-Make good progress getting my career underway
-Formlize, and act on, my decisions about being trans
-Be more expressive of myself publicly (including, hopefully, getting a fursuit)
-Become more involved in the furry community
-Do more to care for the individuals and communities I care about

oh alot of people wanna make progress or changes about their careers this year! but that's great :)
big descisions for you! acting on being trans :) I would say good luck with it but i don't know if I'm meant to say congrats? I'm happy for you either way! being yourself is important :)

I don't know if congrats yet. No official decisions have been made. I'm making good progress getting there, though, and appreciate the support and wishes of luck on being trans, and the resolutions in general. :3 I agree that being oneself is important, and I appreciate the positive reception of the effort, especially when its toward something as controversial as being trans.
the only way to annoy me with something is you trying to convert me or punish me for not being like you :P I have so many friends with different everything the only one i could never stand was a vegetarian xD She would keep our group of friends from going to the food court cause there was a mcdonalds in said food court. even tho she could order a salad from the healthy restaurant on the other side of that food court, she would bitch at us. I wasn't friends with her very long xD We weren't forcing her to eat meat... bah i have nothing against vegetarians btw, i have other veggie friends :P less annoying ones

Thanks. ^^ It's not always easy for me to buck society, since I'm a socially anxious introvert with a pleaser mentality, but every bit of support helps. :3 That's part of what I like so much about the furry community; the way it so often has that support and acceptance that makes me think "this is what the world should be like."
