I am determined to genuinely stick to my new years resolutions. Having to say that out loud nine days in to the new year might not inspire confidence in many, but it's a declaration of my intent to actually carry out what I promise!

I made quarterly goals, splitting the year into four blocks of three months each (obviously). I won't share all my goals as some are behind the scenes work and such, but for this quarter, I plan on:

Finishing the first lesson on drawabox.com (a site dedicated to art fundamentals)
Creating a portfolio, to showcase what I can offer as an artist
Creating fan-art as a way to reach different communities and have a bit of fun imitating the styles of other artists
Creating art to submit for conbooks for two conventions (exact cons not yet decided!)

These are quite big goals and I hope to achieve them all, so I really better get started on them asap...
