Early 2018 update:
Since I've been working a lot of hours, and busy with other stuff on top of being a coyote who hates winter and sleeps it off as much as he can, I've been rather lazy at FA, FB, or FC updates. (Not to mention AA, AB, and AC, BB, BC, wonderful WINO, and WXYZ too) Well at any rate, Christmas was fun, and so was Nude Deer.
On Dec 31, Skwirl and I had a great 'FAREWELL TO 2017' dinner, of a nice thick Strip Steak on New Year's Eve. It ain't too often we splurge to have a thick steak. We fixed this using the Sous Vide method, thanks to one of my furry friends! We've since done a number of other dishes this way, like salmon, pork chops, and even breakfast sausage. Awesome!
So that's how 2018 arrived, with a full belly and a glass of wine. Splendid!
But it was so cold... and I don't work as well when I am cold. Caught some kinda minor flu, was down and out for a few days.
And took our canine pal Keeshaba to the vet, to finally get a bump on her butt checked out. He tells me that she has some type of benign tumor growing on her rump. It may be a lipoma, but he's not sure. He is recomending that it be removed. The lump is slowly growing, and it's now about the size of a tennis ball. Don't worry, Keeshaba's not in any discomfort. But I have scheduled surgery to have the lump excised soon. This is a major medical bill that Skwirl and I are going to have a lot of trouble keeping up with.... I am trying a thing I really don't feel comfortable to do, and that's beg ask for donations. I have set up a GoFundMe site to ask If anyone can help: just a little bit, I will be thankful, Skwirl will be thankful, and especially Keeshaba will Thank You!

One of this wuff's top favs is Olive-Oil poached Salmon with little lemon slices and fresh herbs, pan seared after the sous vide to give crispy skin. The fish is so silky and juicy! It has totally ruined wuff for ordering Salmon at a restaurant again! *grin* It always tastes so dry when they serve it now. Here's wuffy's recipe(s) for this wonderful dish: ( http://www.furaffinity.net/full/21045214/ http://www.furaffinity.net/full/21400069/ )
Hope you get lots of help to keep your pup healthy!
