Another ask me anything journal and review of Jumanji

General
Opening the floodgates, feel free to ask me anything, anything at all.
Also saw the new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle movie and... Wow. What a terrific surprise! This is one of the most fun adventure movies I've seen in a long time. The actors, both the big stars in the game and the unknown (well, to me) actors in the real world do a terrific job and you really believe its the same characters in different bodies. The action sequences are fun, exciting and easy to follow, not headache inducing editing.
I would say those who will probably have the most fun are gamers. If you've seen the trailers, you'll know that instead of a board game its a video game this time, which literally sucks you in. They quickly establish video game rules (lives, npc's, abilities, the ingame map gradually revealing itself, etc.) to both satisfying, hilarious, and clever degrees.
If there's one complaint, the beginning did have some ridiculous product placement with playstation game posters plastered all over the place. It is a gamers room, so it isn't really out of place, but it does feel a little overkill. (its a sony studios movie, so it makes sense) Give them credit though, they do mention Nintendo when they find the Jumanji system and game (probably because the game is cartridge based).
If I remember the original correctly, there is one rule or effect of the game that is changed for this movie over the original, but I felt it was made for the better and added to story and characters. It's not a huge spoiler, but I won't mention it unless someone wants me to.
Overall I highly recommend this movie. There's a reason this movie went from 2nd place at the box office its first two weeks to first its 3rd and 4th weeks. People are discovering this terrific little movie and having a blast with it. Seriously, go and see it.

Also, ask you anything....hmmm......
What does your IDEAL day consist of?
I just moved a few months ago, so I'm about an hour away from my nearest friend now. So not too bad, but also just enough were it's not always worth making the trip. :<
I've lived near here before, so I'm around some friends, but yeah, nearest friend is about an hour, and nearest family is just under 4 hours.
Classes started today too, and though I have to learn my way around, I'm tryinf to be optimistic about finding new friends. In a city this big, and a school with this many students, there have to be other nerds and Furries here. >_<
Just some basic stuff this school requires for now, with only 2 of the classes going toward my specific field of study.
Getting generals out of the way? What field of study are you going for? I studied and took several courses for psychology and ended up in tech support. Which probably explains a lot lol
Yeah, for some reason this school doesn't allow you to take more than 18 credits a semester. Which is fine I guess, cause at 12 or more it's the same amount, because you're now a "full-time" student. I'm not exactly sure how it all works, and I'm sure they like it that way.
I'm going for Human Resources, because not enough companies take care of their employees properly.
Boy do I know that too well, lol
I'm what some companies consider a "job hopper" but I never stay at a place for more than 2 years if they don't treat their employees right.
When I noticed that too many had the same mindset, that employees are property and not people, I decided that needed to be changed.
I hope everything works out well for you too!!! Let me know if you need any advice. I can put my HR learnings to good use making sure you're happy in your new job.
Glad you liked Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle! Did you get one of these?: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/26341.....-1/s-l1000.jpg (I wish I knew there was a Green option, I'd have Loved that a lot more than the orange one I got)
I too thought the movie was really good, though I didn't fully buy that Kevin Hart's character, Moose/Mouse Finbar was really the football player kid.
Otherwise I thought each of the in-game actors were great at representing their IRL counterparts. (though the Jonas Brother could have given a bit more 90's kid references, I thought he did a fine job)
Agreed, if you're a video gamer or know video games, it was quite faithful to the game experience.
I don't really remember them mentioning Nintendo, but I'll take your word for it. I thought the two scenes of kids pretending to play video games seemed like bad acting.
I'm not sure what this rule is you're referring to, unless you mean how Seaplane made it home and things changed...
Probably had something to do with Star Wars maybe? Or just that there's not much playing in January so it had less competition after a couple weeks.
Now with all that talk about Jumanji out of the way, how about I ask you some questions?
Have you ever wanted to live out a fantasy that you see in furry art? Like sex at the gym or in the locker room, public shower, etc?
What's the kinkiest thing you've ever roleplayed and what's the kinkiest thing you've ever done IRL?
And how about something PG to end with? What movies coming in 2018 are you looking forward to?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_.....ilm#2018_films
Also, a reminder, you never replied to me here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/...../#cid:54052927
Hmmmm, yeah, I can agree with that, though the other actors did such a fine job it probably distracted me from his performance. (probably mostly written to have the football player 2 feet shorter than he really is). Was that one of the Jonas brothers? I admit I never followed them, but had an idea what they looked like. (wasn't one of them in the movie Dunkirk as well? Thought I remember hearing that, but never would've realized it.
Fridge asks if the Jumanji console is an older Nintendo when he finds it. Lol, that scene of them pretending to play video games actually killed me. It was so fake it was ridiculous. "Here, hold this controller and when I say, mash all the buttons as much as possible."
Yeah, that was what I was referring to. In the original once they finish the game time resets to when the game started and no one but the two original players know anything about it. Here all the players return to their different times and fully remember what happened. In both movies none of the second group to start playing were born when the first players started and disappeared inside. Yet everything in the first movie is fully reset to when the game started and the kids who joined later don't know anything about it. But in this reboot everyone returns to their times with full memory of what happened and can see the changes for themselves. I seriously felt for the girl when she met the guy she fell in love with only to discover he's over 20 years older than she is and went on to have a good life. I know it's cliche to have that moment when they reveal the name of one of the children is "named for the girl who saved my life", but dammit if this movie didn't earn it and leave you with a good feeling!
Could be. There's a ridiculous amount of divisiveness over Last Jedi. Yeah, January's usually a dumping ground, but they had some good movies opening last weekend with The Post and Paddington 2. (at least good reviewed movies, don't know how much people like them) Honestly, this actually looks like a decent month based on the movies released and those coming. At least compared to normal. Not really seeing any bad horror films that usually get dumped into theaters this time of year.
Fantasy? Hmmmm, never really thought about it to be honest. If I were my character, I would say sex in the locker room or shower, maybe doming a bully or tough guy who needs to be brought down several notches in full view for everyone to see. I would also say sex in the weight room, though in that scenario I would like to jumped by a bunch lady furs of all shapes and size, trapping me under the weights as they take turns riding me! .... I may have issues.
Kinkiest roleplay? I've done a few vampire roleplays with
Kinkiest thing in real life? .... not really a wild person, but... well... I have masturbated into a Bad Dragon toy before
Movies? I can think of a few. I'm hoping movies like 12 Strong, 15:17 to Paris and Death Cure are good, but I'm waiting to hear how they are before deciding to see them at the theater or not. Same with the horror movie Winchester . As far as movies I plan on seeing in theaters, pretty much all the comic book based movies, Pacific Rim, Ready Player One, Incredibles 2, next Mission Impossible and probably Alita: Battle Angel. I'm sure I missed some, but those were the ones that immediately came to mind.
Oh! Sorry! I must've thought I was the last to post there.
(they come in two parts an you assemble them) I saw the case on the counter and asked if I could have one.
Agreed, the other actors all nailed the part so well that it didn't hurt the movie to me.
And yeah, I didn't know that's who that was till later. Never saw Dunkirk, so IDK.
A quick search on Wikipedia, perhaps you were thinking of Harry Styles from One Direction?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that their playing looked fake as hell.
Well, technically it Did follow the same rules, we just weren't following the original kid through his timeline. Clearly his existance didn't change the other 4's history.
In the original Alan and Sarah both interviened to prevent the kid's parents from dying at the end. (That was something I Never picked up on when I watched it as a kid)
I never saw Paddington 1, so I don't think I'll be seeing 2. I'm actually going to be seeing Liam Neeson in The Commuter tomorrow.
Insidious: the Last Key is a horror film. IDK if it's bad, but I've no interest in seeing it...
Oooh, I'd LOVE to be watching something like that. I'd sure be that guy hiding in the shadows, stroking it while watching you pound his ass. ^_^ hee hee
Nice diversity in your kinky ideas. So, just riding your cock? or would face sitting be something you'd be into as well?
I don't think you have issues.
Would love to have art made based on Our RP's someday. Or just of the two of us in general, if that's something you'd be into... I don't want to presume anything.
So, a penetratable BD toy then? I have a couple of those. Though sadly one of them I did not follow the instructions properly and she's not in mint condition anymore... I SO regret what I did to her.
OH! Maze Runner: The Death Cure! Yeah, I saw the original, but missed the sequel, but I think I'll try seeing Death Cure. I hope Cinema Sins makes an Everything Wrong With video on The Scorch Trials.
I too am looking forward to seeing Pacific Rim: Uprising, Ready Player One, Incredibles 2, MI:6 and I also hope that Battle Angel Alita will be be better than Ghost in the Shell. (I like their decision to give her huge anime eyes)
I'm sure you did.
Yeah, the responses were getting too small, so I started the line fresh, so there'd be plenty of room. Do you know what I mean?
And I didn't want to be rude and seem like I'm rushing you, but when I spied the new AMA journal, I figured you were around, bored and missed/forgot about my response.
I always welcome art of my character if people would like to do it, even put a note of it on my profile.
Oh, sorry I missed that, was actually talking to someone who also wants to RP with me and mentioned that I'd only been RPing with you recently and that I'd wanted to get art of the two of us. But he said he had/wanted to get your permission.
It's quite a lot there.
I oughta find the time to not only read through it all but get around to cleaning up/updating MY profile page and stuff.
I need to put you on the list of good friends.
"You are free to draw my character as gift art...I would love that soooo much and Drac is a pretty open individual. However, claiming MY alter ego as your own in any way will result in dire consequences."
It's printed in-between your backstory and the part about you not being a demon or a bull and the facts about your character I shared with the artist along with the link to "The Stripes Reemerge by Behemoth Valentine".
RPs can lead to some great things, can't they. ^_^
If I were able to come visit you IRL, what games and movies would you be interested in playing with me?
What would be the kind of food you're good at cooking? (or would you order out?)
Honestly? Probably funny let's plays or MST3K/rifftrax shows. Or if there;s something you'd like to see I'd go with that.
MEAT!! I'd put on some beef or hamburger or chicken or pork, whatever I have. Maybe make some taco's. Or get a pizza.
I've only got experience with Mario Kart Double Dash as it's the only MK game I have, though I'm sure I've played the games before it.
I loved CTR: Crash Team Racing tho. ^_^
Never played the other two, so you'd be at a good advantage if we played those.
How many players have you had in the same room before?
So, would we be cuddled on a couch? in bed? Clothes on or off? ^_^
I'm not a big taco guy, but I like Steak (with rice especially), cheeseburgers, and chicken and pork are nice too.
Can't go wrong with pizza.
What popular chains of pizza do you like most? (eg. Domino's, Hut, Papa Johns, Ceasars, Sbarro, Cici's Chuck E. Cheese... lol)
I look forward to seeing your responses to my questions and RP. ^_^
G'nite, sleep well.
CTR is basically a derivative of Mario Kart (obviously), so you'd most likely do fine
Both L4D2 and Insurgency let you play on a team with friends against computer controlled enemies. Zombies in one, terrorists in the other. I prefer coop multiplayer to pvp multiplayer.
Most players I've had in a single room before has been 4, back on the N64. We use to gather around each night and play Mario Kart or Goldeneye, among many others.
We'd be... well why don't I let you choose where we'd be?
I've never really considered different pizza chains much. I like Little Ceasers for their hot n ready pizza and the relatively low cost. I like the take n bake from papa murphys. I'll also pick up Digorno frozen pizza from time to time. Others I haven't really tried or remember.
IDK why or what it was about CTR, but I loved playing that game. I'm pretty sure I even managed to beat Nitrous Oxide.
Oh I Know about L4D, watched my friend's LP of a Pokemon mod where the zombies are all skinned with different Pokemon, looked a lot of fun. heh.
As for Co-op games I've played Resident Evil 5 and Dead Rising 2 & DR2 Off the Record.
Did you screen-peek or were you screen-peeked on? Hmm?
And did anyone ever intentionally pick Oddjob? (what was the deal with him? The real dude wasn't even short!)
*chuckles* Well, it'd be Your place, is your couch or your bed more comfy? And we could start with playing things like Strip Poker, where we lose an article of clothing every time something particular happens.
Little Ceasars is pretty good, though I don't get to have them much. LOVE their crazy bread.
Never heard of Papa Murphy's, must not have those around here.
"It's Not Delivery, It's DiGiorno". IDK if I've had one of those... Though I don't mind "homemade" freezer pizza.
So it's ALL good. ^_^
LOVE me some pizza anytime.
So, what toppings do you like on your "Pie"?
Yeah, I have mods right now that have the player characters as Deadpool, StarWolf, Princess Zelda, Shulk, Phoenix Wright, One of the Ninja Turtles, Ash Williams and Talia Al Ghoul. Another that turns the moon into the one from Majora's Mask, The boomers become Wario, Tanks into Bowser, the like. Tons of mods you can do with it.
I do have those games on my computer. Would need another to do coop with them though.
I'm pretty sure each one of us screencheated off and on. It's right next to your box so its not hard to glance over and see where the other are. I think everyone agreed not to use oddjob. Not only because of the height, but they didn't like playing as him.
I've got a couch that's also a bed and two bunk areas in different parts of the place, so plenty of room to play. You'd be nude before we even started.
I think Papa Murphy's is nationwide, there's quite a few where I live and where I lived before. I think the only area they don't have any is the northeast. It's a unique pizza place, they make the dough fresh right there and you see them adding each of the ingredients. Once finished they wrap it up and you take it home and cook it in your oven so its as fresh as can be when cooked. I think they've even won best pizza of year a few times.
I usually just like cheese and pepperoni on mine, though I'll take extra different meats on them too, like steak, chicken, sausage, etc.
(Though of course fighting games are the obvious genre that would possibly have that sort of thing happen)
Totally fine with playing some fun co-op games.
Well, WHICH Turtle is it? Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael or Michelangelo? (Even though I grew up liking Mikey, for the obvious reason that we share the same name, I've developed a love/crush for Donatello... also doesn't hurt that one of my first furry romantic crushes was on Razor from SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron)
Lol. Boomers are Wario! That's awesome! Those are the ones that release noxious gasses?
That sounds like a ton of fun. IDK which of those choices I'd want to play as first!
Are they all just cosmetic or do they have some sort of extra properties?
Computer, huh? Not on console? I have them on my PS3, but I've been thinking about reacquiring them for PS4. (I already got RE4 and Dead Rising...)
Yeah, Oddjob is a pretty cheap character and entirely unfair to everyone else who's Not Oddjob...
Sounds like you've got lots of comfy places to play...
ORLY? You think I'd be nude from the start? Is that because of your incredible skills or your incredible mystique? ^_^
And where would that leave you in the phases of undress?
Google/Wikipedia says that "Papa Murphy's" is a business based in Vancouver, Washington.
Though it also says it's the fifth largest pizza chain in the US...
And that's precisely where I live, the Northeast, in New England/Massachusetts.
Pretty cool that they make the pizza for YOU to bake instead of baking it for you...
Cheese and pepperoni are fine. I actually like Hawaiian pizza the most these days, but I grew up on those two toppings.
"Different meats" makes me think of a "Pizza delivery man" with an empty pizza box with a hole in it. heh.
Don't think I've ever tried pizza with steak or chicken on it, though I HAVE heard of that being a thing.
I have a ps3, though my center console has pretty much always been Nintendo. Super Nintendo is my favorite console of all time. Hoping to get a Switch soon with the money I;m making from my new job. Might get a ps4 somewhere down the road, but most games I would play on it are on PC and I love the modding you can do with games on PC. (btw, I HATE the whole 'pc master race' thing. I don't care if a game has the best graphics on pc, I'm just interested in the modding I can do with a game on pc and the freedom I usually get with multiplayer on pc. Graphics have become one of the least important aspects for me. Yeah, if a game looks great that's nice, but I play a ton of games that are built to look like retro 2d games like Axiom Verge and Hollow Knight that I enjoy a lot more than a lot of the recent highly detailed games. I'm NOT a graphics whore)
No, I just think you'd be eager to get nude as fast as possible when playing the game lol
Just found a map of the U.S. marking all the Papa Murphy locations.... yep, everywhere but the northeast. Furthest I could find was south Pennsylvania, northern Virginia area. Yeah, when I first heard of it I thought 'That's cheap, why would I get a pizza I have to bake myself when all others bake it for you?'. But to actually have it, it makes total sense. They wrap it up perfectly so you can unwrap it without making a mess and so it won't spill out when you're transporting it home, and its the freshest it can be right out of your oven. Really good pizza.
Plus I DO love me some Purple on Green~
Well, I grew up with Nintendo, from NES to SNES to N64, before I got my taste of Playstation before I got the GCN later before getting a Wii and WiiU. (and just last year was able to go from GB Pocket, GBC & GBA to finally having a DS in the form of 3DSXL)
I too would like to get a Switch, but I currently can't afford it. Hopefully after the furry convention I'm attending next month, I'll be able to save up for that. So I can get to play Mario Odyssey. Would like to play Super Mario 3D World with someone. (and get back to playing it again)
Glad to hear you don't get into the Master Race BS stuff. As well as to hear that you're not a whore. Heh. ^_^
I actually recently acquired Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition.
Ever play Shovel Knight? I wish I were better at that game...
And no problem about not having a PS4, I only was able to get it just last year cuz of my new income. (plus I don't have PS+, so I can't play games online with others anyway... never had to do that with PS3)
Well, I'm sure it'd be hot in there, so I'd probably want to cool down by stripping for you. ^___^
(I'm actually currently shirtless as I type this. as well as barefoot.)
Yeah, never been that far south before. Furthest I've been was NYC during a 6th grade class field trip. (got to visit the Statue of Liberty)
And it DOES sound quite tasty. Would love to try it with you.
So, thoughts on Hawaiian pizza? (did you know it was actually invented in Canada?)
And what do you think of the Pizza Delivery Man bringing you "the meatlover's special"? (or something like that)
Did they change it so you have to have the ps+ to play online on ps4? That really sucks.
Not really a fan of Hawaiian pizza, mainly because I don't like pineapple, on or off pizza. Rest of the ingredients are fine, so I guess you could say I like the... skirtless hawaiian pizza?
To be brutally honest, I'd guide the delivery man to the correct address
Agreed, it DOES suck. I've never paid for a Playstation Plus account before, but unless you're playing local verses/co-op, you have to pay to play online with PS4.
Really? you don't like pineapples in general? interesting. I Really like the taste of pineapples. (I've even had pizza where it was the Only topping and enjoyed it)
*Chuckles* Skirtless? that's funny. So you like bacon and ham (though I mostly just like with bacon)
*scratches his head* Correct address? I was making a lewd scenario where the pizza guy is delivering sex instead of just pizza...
lol, I know. I was inferring my life is so boring and uneventful that he would obviously be at the wrong address and help him find the right one
So, how'd you come to possess the one Amiibo of Link riding a horse? (I suppose it's not necessarily Epona?) And what does it do?
I need to get one of Link sometime... I have Zelda, Sheik, Ganondorf and Wolf Link with Midna that came with Twilight Princess HD.
I only have 6 Amiibo that I bought new and most of them I got discounted. The rest I got from Game Stop when they were selling them as buy two get three free, or vice versa... Is it weird that most of my Amiibos are Smash Bros ones when I don't own Smash Bros for WiiU or 3DS?
Well, Guess I'd invigorate your life and make it more interesting. ^_^
(Though that WOULD make for a funny piece of art, someone giving the sexy "deliveryman" directions on how to get where he probably meant to go. lol)
I don't think its weird. I'd love to collect the figures just to have them regardless if I have a game they go with.
Glad to know I'm not alone in that then. I just had the means and opportunity to do so.
I need to find time to actually play games on my WiiU again instead of just using it for internet browsing...
Also, I was tempted to buy the giant Guardian Amiibo on Black Friday... as well as a few other Amiibos... Regretting not getting White Tuxedo Mario when I had the chance, since I'm sure he can be used to get "Mario" in the Mini Mario Amiibo Challenge game.
Then all I'd need to get is Luigi and Bowser Jr. I think...
