TF2 Hot Hand good?

So after playing TF2 out of boredem XP I got 4 out of 5 of the new weapons the last one being the pyro melee Hot Hand

But I heard it was not the greatest weapon in the game, but just curious if it is worth doing the contacts for it?

using it just let's you do the kill taut for the pyro without having it equipped but for less damage than having it a instant kill

though that only happens when you taunt near a spy using dead ringer and is cloaked. otherwise it is not a very good weapon. in short it's just as bad as the fan of war for the scout
