I Lost My Hero Today [Personal]

Today, I lost my hero.
My grandfather passed away due to cancer. He's been in the hospital for a while now, and just last night, they decided to take him off life support.
My grandpa was.. The closest person I've ever had to a real father figure.
He has always been very supportive of me and has always encouraged me.
I don't know what I'm gonna do without him. I feel like I lost a very big piece of my heart.
I feel.. Lost. And empty.
I miss you, grandpa. You were my hero. You were the best grandpa I could have ever asked for. Thank you... For everything.

Likewise, I sympathize, I lost my Grandfather and favorite uncle last year, both due to cancer.

Cancer is a constant plague on my family. It's taken many loved ones from me, but this.. Is by far the most heart-wrenching.

Im very sorry for your loss my friend. I understand how it is to have cancer in ones family. My own family has cancer line.. it is a wicked an evil sickness.. I hope your grandfather finds peace. Ill say a pray for you . My wife XxWhisperxX13 said If you ever want to talk to her shes always there if you need a shoulder to cry on
