After seeing a stat that said the Patriots are going to the superbowl a record 10 times....I started to think a bit. Granted they lost 4 times but the numbers don't add up. A lot of things point at foul play, especially with how much controversy that surrounds the team itself. I'm not bashing them or their fans but honestly somewhere along the line, something doesn't seem right. There's no way in the span of 16 years, not once has this team fell under .500. It took them years to actually lose twice in a row, and they always seem to have great players that when they go elsewhere, they are lackluster at best. Now I'm not going to deny that Tom Brady is good, but I think something is up. The amount of times this team has been caught cheating and no real punishment cause it clearly shows that it does nothing. The last season they went under .500 was 2000 when they went 5-11 and then the very next year they went 11-5 and beat the unstoppable rams in a superbowl after a national disaster which one reporter did say moments before kickoff of that game, "How great would it be for America if the Patriots were to win this game?"
Honestly this display of "who is the patriots going to beat in the superbowl" bullshit has literally killed my fanhood of the sport. Even the fucking Yankees weren't like this. Since I've been alive, the Yankees have one 5 world championships. In the last 18 years, the Patriots have won 5 and going for 6. It ruins the fun of seeing fresh teams with new talent going forward and my team has won it twice! I don't even care anymore, the game is unfun to talk about unless you are talking about the good old days of hard hits and players being fucking men, not wimps looking for paychecks. The game is unfun to watch cause it's like watching a movie that has a ending that was spoiled in the god damn previews! I will still cheer for the Ravens but overall as a fan of the sport of football....because of the one sidedness I've seen over the years, I'm done with it. I don't care if people get butthurt over this, I'm just tired of seeing the same thing over and over again with no real change.
