Pretty much think..If you think you can walk down the street wearing said clothing and not get arrested for public indecency? You're good.

Mature Audience: No genitals can be visible, but nipples or naked butts(without holes visible) are fine. Pretty much think of a beach...Women take their bikini tops off and show their breasts fully, but they leave their bikini bottoms on for decency. Same thing.

Adult Audience: Anything goes that is sexual...For example, a picture of your character in a bikini(i.e showing no genitals or nipples whatsoever) should not be in the Adult Audience rating. Pretty much if it has pussy, tits, gaping assholes with cum oozing out and massive cocks of any shape or form gushing cum everywhere....Or simply said assholes or massive cocks being visible even in the slightest way without doing anything overtly explicit? Then this is the rating you wanna use.

They can't seriously come adyer you for labeling mature Content as adult

The other way around is a different story

They can still ding you for labelling mature content as adult. It's a really difficult and subjective system. I'm hoping theyre working on another way to handle this sort of stuff because dinging content creators for your site on a three-strikes-you're-permanently-banned means that people with older, more prolific accounts are more likely to lose all their followers.

Ever since half my gallery was adjusted I sort of gave up on trying to figure out FA's rating system. Of course, I didn't realise submissions could be brought down a rating which is low key terrifying.

ah sorry to hear about this, the past year-and-a-half FA really seems very extreme in the whole ''This should be Mature!'' and ''This should be Adult!'' area.. and I'm not really sure.. why? Because as far as I'm aware the [SFW] filter removes both Mature AND Adult??

So them going after people with too high ratings Adult -> Mature seems.. weird, because some people do it because a piece is in that grey area where you're not sure which one to pick >_<..

So why they don't make a third site filter, where only sfw and mature content is visible if it's a "huge" difference between adult and mature stuff? I know that you can choose it in the search, but honestly, sometimes I wish I would browse galleries without the nsfw stuff (especially when it's filled with fetish pics), but only with mild nudity/violence and sfw arts.

FA is not known for it's stellar use of protocol and proper admin actions/reactions. I'm not aware of anyone under 18 who even uses this site and, the mature filter is only active if you log in. If people want it 100% SFW, they should not log on in public places where it is subjected to repercussions. It's not hard to wait till you get home, or log on from a private device to check your stuff.

That being said, I'm pretty sure that this is just nit picking and not really an offense. Just another case of someone trying to enforce some arbitrary rules that are barely relevant.

Unfortunately it's an offense in the only way that matters: the countdown to permanent a ban.
