EDIT: I'm calling my insurance company tomorrow. hopefully something can be worked out. Thank you all for your kind words and suggestions :)
my insurance fucked me apparently.
All i know is that, when i visited the ER for the intense pain i was having, no one asked for my insurance card. Which i understand; I was in pain and wasn't thinking about it and they were probably just trying to take care of me.
But now I get a bill in the mail for over 7k and I call to give them my information
and tell them my address is in Ohio, i was just out of state visiting a friend
And apparently my insurance just wont cover it.
I was told it was either because I was out of my home state when the incident happened (which is wrong, as i paid for another medical bill here with the same insurance) or it just doesn't cover my radiology I got done.
Either way I feel like i'm fucked. 7k in hospital bills man.
