I've been lacking in presence here as well. The community never really bonded to me no matter how much I tried bonding to it. I gotta have a good relationship with a community and if it's not mutual then it's not a relationship. There's lots of older people here like me and the older people get, the more they expect from somebody to make new friends. Back when I met the first kids ever all I needed to do was be there for them to try and be my friend. That's not to say this is the only place where this occurs, just that I get that impression from everywhere.
