Imo using bases by other more popular artists to shoddily color in and resell is really....Gross.
I've seen some people on here who have way more watchers than I do but they don't draw anything themselves, they just pay money to use bases to make money and it feels idk sleezy? You won't get any better at art if you don't actually do the line art yourself?
I guess it's my unpopular opinion but it tightens my knickers to see people who put vague effort into something they didn't make themselves and someone buys it for $$$$$ when one of my adopts I spent hours hand drawing doesn't find a home.

What I'm saying is if all you ever do is color in a base you're not going to grow much in your art, practicing your own lines etc. is what's going to teach you how to grow and become your own artist with your own style which then people take said interest in your style and tah-dah you've made it.
Collecting bases is fine, buying bases is fine, selling bases is fine, coloring bases is fine. But don't make coloring and selling bases the only thing you're capable of doing.
