Pardon my text, im half dead in sleep ;

1. Unistall the current driver and restart pc
2. On wacom driver website you should have access to the previous driver (the version before the actual one)
3. Take that one and install, restart again.

The driver you want is
Driver 6.3.24-5 ( Old )

The one you have now is probably 6.3.25-5 ( or 6.3.26.5 if it has been released )
Its the evil one.

Hey, I'm kind of interested whether this trouble only occurs with wacom screenless tablets or with all of the wacom products available as of now.

I'm using the latest drivers with my cintiq and I've had no issues yet while my wacom one tablet has this issue while working in Paint Tool SAI only (no idea why this doesn't affect other graphic editors). I've kind of solved this with turning off the double click radius (dunno how is this called in English iteration of the menu) while waiting for new patch to come out

Sadly drivers problems are a common go in their pricy models too.
As said i have the MobileStudioPro one, which is basically the new cintiq with a poqerful computer touch at once.
I had to remove the old driver, completely overwrite all the old data, reset, manually remove all wacom components from the thing, including hidden system files, and then put back the older driver.
Only then it started to work properly.
Without doing that, the pen wouldnt be compatible with it and a right click would freeze the whole thing, thr visual keyboard was popping at random without being needed, half the buttons were not working, etc.

Drivers is the n1 problem of wacom.

I know. The whole situation sounds like the High Sierra version of OS X before it got patched. Lots of Apple products started to lag and show low performance, even though the hardware was a-ok. There were lucky ones who had no trouble with the hardware, of course, but still

At least, this update has helped me in terms of finally fixing the bug when the drivers crashed when you switched cintiq to the tablet mode (basically when you turn off the screen)
