I need to seriously get out of this art funk so I can be featured more often!
My favorite for this post is KrazyKurt's feature - there's so much work in this, and the details are really nicely done. As someone who struggles with background and environments, I always find it awesome to see them pulled off so well. The lighting in particular is really pleasant, very soft and somehow warm despite the colours themselves being on the "cooler" end of the visual spectrum. :D
