Seriously Considering Patreon

First off, I apologies for not updating as much over the last 3 weeks. I've spending spending all that time dedicated to completing both the YCHs #3 & #4, which are both now on FurAffinity, as well as finishing up Captain-Jim55's Star Trek Online Commission, which is now finished, and awaiting final payment before posting.
Anyways, I was looking over some old artwork sketches that I've made over the past few years, and I realized I have a quite a handful of them. Most of them are art projects, including some fanart, from 2012-2016, and I even found a fanart piece for an fellow DA artist from 2005 that I never even colored!
Because these sketches were originally planned to be colored and posted on my sites, but never fully realized, I'm considering opening up a Patreon Page that will focus not only on previews of future art, YCHs, & Commissions, but so these old sketches as future drawing projects.
I'm still not 100% certain about opening up a Patreon Page, but if I do, I would really like to include these old sketches as part of my future art projects and previews for the account.
What do all of you think?

You'll need to be careful to look for patrons with email addresses that look like they were made by a computer. If you check the patron's profile, and it's mostly blank, and they either only supporting you or are supporting WAY more campaigns than seems financially feasible, you're probably dealing with a bot trying to steal from you. Patreon won't do this for you, so you'll need to do this yourself.
Many campaigns like to put in a bot-catcher tier of rewards. Something absurdly expensive like $100+/month with ridiculous rewards. If anyone pledges to that tier, ban them immediately. You can even openly state that anyone who pledges at that tier WILL be banned, and you'll still manage to catch the stupider bots.
Most campaigns survive on small $1 pledges, rather than trying to entice higher-paying patrons. The trick is to get noticed, as there are a lot of campaigns out there vying for attention.
Good luck to you if you go forward with this. I hope its successful.
