I had that crud last week. Real nasty stuff. Phlegm in my lungs and sinus pressure and being very tired. I'm over it now, but yeah, it was a good 4 to 5 days of just recovery. It really sucked. Get well soon.

Thanks, dear heart. As for the Vitamin C, oh, trust me, been doing that. 3-pack slams of Emergen-C, hammering my kidneys. I tend to drink water, tea, and diet sodas, so no worries on the fluid end. Planning on some ramen tonight for food, since the spicy soup helps. This aside, I turn myself into a full-on NyQuil Zombie when I pass out. It helps. Immensely.

Keep tabs on it, don't let it get you, the flu is brutal and weakens you to everything else if you don't get offed by it..

Oh, how well I know that, dear heart. How well I know indeed. As I told Frost above, I'm fighting this with everything in my arsenal. At least tonight I can think straight, which I could NOT do all morning and afternoon. First time in AGES where I was a complete non-social lump, even to my roomies. All I wanted to do was lay around, hack up my lungs, and nurse the pounding slamming headache I had. Been light-sensitive, too, all morning, though that seems to have MOSTLY passed now. I chalk THAT one up to me having been coughing so hard I'd delivered a deathly-painful headache to myself.
