More winter blahs
Keeshaba has had her surgery, ands she's home again. The lump is gone but not forgotten. It's on its way to analysis, and I hope they do not find it to be cancerous. I'll know more in a coupla days. She's doing fine, and in no apparent pain.
But wait there's more... Winter just doesn't quit until I'm in trouble I can't climb out of. Winter is like a long and abandoned railroad tunnel. Wednesday I woke up to a house that was only 45 degrees F inside. Our heat went out. At first I thought we'd run out of heating oil. So I called for a delivery, but immediately went out with 2 gas cans and put 10 gallons just to hold it over until Thrsday. I tried and tried to relight the furnace, no joy. I replaced the filter, tried again. Not being an experienced burner tech, I decided to call a serviceman in. $250 and a oil pump later we got the heat back on, just in time to face a 20 deg day today. At least the temperature was a moderate 40-45 degrees while the heat was out...
Let's hope thats the worst of it until spring. I'm praying for it.

... and don't talk to me about house troubles
I have a natural gas furnace over 30 years old, and once in a while it fails to start, but not since the control box was treated with electrical contact cleaner.
