Well I blame it on the fact that many do not know of Anubis or respect to much to draw porn of it though its most likely the first reason.

It's a wave, like anything else. A bunch of people went bananas and there was more Anubis art than you could possibly care to see...and then people moved on to other things. It'll come back eventually. It's all about cycles.
