Probably leaving FA soon. Concerned about permanent ban.

General
Some of you probably know that I was recently suspended for a week. This was due to an old submission that linked to content that violated the AUP and CoC of this site. The suspension was paired with a FINAL WARNING NOTICE of the AUP. That final warning combined with the FA staff's apparent increase in enforcement (or someone having searched through my gallery to find violations, I am unsure) means that I can no longer feel safe on this site.
That might sound hyperbolic, but this is my primary gallery where I post just about everything, and this site is my main way of attracting and maintaining commissions which, as some of you may not know, is my only source of income. I have heard people getting on-file warnings for marking a submitted file MATURE where the submission guidelines state it should be GENERAL. So even erring on the side of caution won't work, because being too cautious is enough to get a warning, and one more warning on my account might mean a permanent ban. I'm also concerned that there may be other work buried in my account somewhere that violates the AUP and I'm not interested in going through 3500 submissions to vet each and every single one of them.
Exacerbating my fear is the fact that if this account goes down, my clean account goes down with it, because it could be seen as dodging a ban.
This journal is being posted for 2 reasons. First is to make sure everyone has a way to contact me in the case that my account should suddenly become inavailable to me.
Should anything happen to this account, you can find me on Twitter at https://twitter.com/Demonskunk and you can continue to follow my clean art on my Deviantart at http://TheDemonskunk.deviantart.com
Secondly, I need to figure out a place to move to. Part of the problem with leaving FA is that despite recent issues and controversies it remains the most popular furry art website. My entire fanbase was built up and exists primarily on this site, and without comments and attention posting art is literally meaningless to me. I'm one of those assholes who needs constant affirmation of my self worth.
The only site I know has the features I want is Inkbunny, but I'm loathe to move my primary gallery there because I still see it as a cub haven, and I don't want to be closely associated with cub.
One of the things I'd really like in a gallery is the ability to put multiple images into one submission, so I can put an entire series into one upload instead of having to painstakingly upload each and every picture. The only site I'm aware of that has that is Inkbunny.
I know there are other furry sites, but I don't know their features, so I'd be really appreciative if maybe people can comment with their experiences and the features any sites they know about and use are.
And I'm not really interested in keeping and maintaining galleries on multiple sites. I have a hard enough time managing my current accounts.
I'm sorry to spring this on everyone. I'm really frustrated with the idea of leaving 13 years of history behind, but my livelihood is very important and I can't depend on an ailing site with strangely specific rule enforcement any more.
Thanks, and I appreciate any feedback you all can give.

FA+

No other site will unless FA dies or goes down for a long period again.
it KIND OF has a multi upload thing, but they all get posted as individuals still and the typing of all their details is still manual, but you have the chance to upload them and not publish them until you have them ready, therefore making a queue for your work as you do it.
there's also tumblr, which is always the go to for most furs who want to abandon this site and move to a good enough community for followers to enjoy. and it totes has a multi upload by post thing.
finally there's also the ability to make your own site if you have the funds and patience to make it.
I don't really want to use Tumblr as a gallery. For a lot of reasons. Guh.
I hate this whole situation.
Where be this feature, because that's something that might solve a problem for a lot of folks.
https://wiki.inkbunny.net/wiki/Main_Page its in there. Under the HOWTO's section.
https://fa2ib.welcomefur.net/ is the direct link to the program. I learned of this when FA was hacked couple/few years ago and their code was released if remember that drama heh. That is when I migrated/copied my whole gallery from here ot there (and eventually Weasyl) just in case this site went down for good.
It's funny because I saw actual human smut on there once before and the staff didn't care about it.
Still though, with the speciesism and illegal art there, I don't get why anyone would consider that a viable alternative, especially as two notable members of the site are actual, "you-know-whats" in real life.
It is highly improbably people are being flagged or reported for "overstating" maturity, that is, posting something as "mature" when it could be deemed general, and posting something "adult" when it could be "mature". That just doesn't make any sense to me - at all. I'm sorry, but these people you spoke to honestly are confused. People are flagged for "understating", not "overstating". ^^
If it really does trouble you, you can always consult someone, like myself, to judge the art and help you categorize it as needed. ^^
But don't leave just because of misunderstandings, okay? I'm sure a lot of us would like you to stick around - although 13 years is quite a while. *^^*
Let's do a thought experiment. What alternative explanation is there for being suspended for a post that's 4 years old? A 4-year-old backlog of tickets? Did someone report the post 4 years ago and the mod only now comes across it and hands a FINAL WARNING suspension immediately, without a chance to rectify the situation?
There are others who can corroborate the 'bone to pick' narrative, but I will only give my personal experience due to how it makes named people a target. I trust that I've purged my gallery of any at-risk content, but it's the mods here that have a record of violating that trust.
If you rate something wrong, it's against the AUP and it can result in a warning.
I just left it as that and didnt bother. It was ignorance and pathetic on his part.
You really should move to InkBunny. Nobody gives a shit what you post because, unlike every other furry site, their AUP includes the phrase "Deal with it." As in, "See something you don't like? Something not set to the right maturity level? Deal with it." It's amazing how much the quality of the userbase and therefore community improves when pearl-clutchers, soapboxers, and other self-important assholes can't just get what they want by throwing tantrums or abusing the Report feature.
Failing that, move to Weasyl. It's dead as fuck but crushing silence beats douchebag vengeance.
The weirder ones are the ones that hate furries, refuse to draw them, and never fav them.
and no, crushing silence is the worst of all punishments.
Your followers who actually comment would probably follow you there if you said very clearly you were moving to Weasyl. Crushing silence is typically reserved for nobodies like myself.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't and there's nothing you can do about it.
Especially with how vague the rulings can be.
Keeping track of 500+ submissions to be 100% in line with the rules, even 5 years from now is a bit asinine.
The fact that staff on furry websites are even more likely than the general population to enforce the rules selectively--if not downright arbitrarily--doesn't help matters either.
I really hope that the worst case scenario won't kick into action for you, Min. I would hate to see you leave FA, been following your gallery for years now.
they consented, and there owners are over age so, its all legal <3
Sides, Min saying he didn’t wanna use it was enough. Don’t need someone trying to stab my suggestion cause they dislike it.
DeviantArt is probably best for your clean gallery since it will get the widest exposure. As far as I'm aware, like others have said FurryNetwork, Weasyl and Inkbunny are the main furry gallery options. Using a tool like
SoFurry is also an option, although it's writing focused it also supports an art gallery. I think it has a decently significant audience - a random "popular" image from the front page (https://www.sofurry.com/view/1299649) got 500 views in a day or two.
Whichever way you decide to go, I'll definitely follow you there. Best of luck with everything Min!
I wish the best for you Min, you're an amazing artist and you genuinely seem like a decent person.
But i do see more hope on SoFurry. If i were to leave FA, i would go to SoFurry if you dont want to be on IB.
Those are the two that are popular right now and have at least a bit more traffic, SF and IB.
So if you are trying to get some audience, those are the two that will do it but you would have to slowly grow it like we all did here on FA.
I hope they dont ban you. Its stupid because admins arent reasonable and they ban people for something that General rating and by their opinion its Mature or Adult. Its stupid seriously. What if we didnt know? Tough shit is what they say.
Sooner or later, FA will spiral into a toilet and shit on itself, pulling the plug and everyone's work and money gets fucked. Then we have to migrate to a new home.
They allow under aged people to view porn and not do anything about it, yet they will say they do care and they dont allow it but its all bullshit because i reported someone who ADMITTED that he was a minor and STILL they didnt do anything. Its on my shouts on SRK page.
And here they are banning furs for something far less. Its pathetic and i can see why most furs here dont like the admins here. Its just so unorganized and sloppy. Unfair too.
I hope you stay and you dont have to worry about anything but if something does happen, i hope to find you on IB or SF. I am on there and i am starting to get more active on those sites.
weasyl was a good option till people found out its run by one of fa's admins and made a lot of people not feel safe
plus furry network has drag and drop for uploading. its honestly much better designed
ive been trying to navigate to it. as it seems like a much better put together website. with a completely different admin base
I guess Weasyl would be your best bet if you don't want to be associated with a site that's made some... questionable decisions to say the least, but I won't lie - none of the other options look that attractive either. It sucks.
It violates article 3.3 or something of the Code of Conduct that says you won’t link to violating content on other sites.
Someone has a beef with you and it's either kissing a lot of ASS to an admin or going to retarded amounts of efforts to see you be miserable.
