2018 update: Racing Stripe A/V / neohylanmay on Patreon
7 years ago
I know I said about a year and a half ago that I was considering opening up a Patreon, and after several months of fence-sitting, I've finally taken the leap and opened one up:
PATREON | RACING STRIPE A/V
What this means for this page I'm still deciding; for now, it's business as usual, but since I've (currently) set it to Patrons getting early access to the finished product to any future cover I make, I may make it so that WIPs (both Sketches and Demos) are covered under that too. Alternatively, the only other option that I can currently of is put up low-quality MP3s (128k, even 64k) of the WIPs here on FurAffinity and make higher-quality MP3 (320k)/lossless WAV versions Patreon-exclusive.
However, this is something I very much need your feedback on.
I do want to say that donating to my Patreon is completely and totally optional. Outside of putting stuff on Bandcamp (under Minimum Free*), I'm not planning on putting my content behind any sort of paywall any time soon. But it is in some ways an indicator as to how much time I can realistically put into making content because while I would love to work full-time on this, it's pretty much a hobby/passion project that I occasionally work on.
(*the cover itself is a free download, but extras such as instrumentals, stems, and high-bitrate versions of demos being purchase-exclusive)
