Should I write stories?

I was thinking about this for a good while now, I've been thinking of starting a written series about my fursona RedBone. I've had a story set up of how he becomes the werewolf he is today, but I really don't know if I should do it now or not. I guess I'm having anxiety, maybe I am thinking about this way too hard? I honestly don't know, if you guys come across this journal now and have read I'd like some feedback as to what you think should happen. Should I write this story?

As a writer on FA myself, I can warn you that writing doesn't get nearly as much attention as visual art on this site. But don't let that deter you. I've found that there are readers for any category of writing on FA, they just have to find you. I get a few readers that tend to be regulars on my page when I post my work. I'd say if you're into the idea you should go for it. It's really fun to be an author in my opinion. And if you already have fans or followers who like your character(s) it can be a fun way to give more depth to the character. I'd say go for it.
