Smarts Vs. Intelligence.

I normally don't allow myself to get self-centered in my posts but when I have to deal with people who intelligent yet do the dumbest things then I just have to vent a bit. I'm not trying to brag when I say I have borderline genius intelligence; I'm saying this because it's hard for me to understand how someone else with above average intelligence can be so stupid. I'm not saying I don't do those but I DO learn from those experiences and learn to correct them or understand that they are not important to worry about. I do apologize for venting like this but sometimes it helps to just write things out.

Generally I have found that ‘intelligence’ is usually demonstrated in the living styles and behaviors of those who have it in an uncooperative world.
To borrow a Biblical observation that ’The Poor are always with us’, I would say, rather, “The Stupid are always with us” as well. The former generally being produced by the latter.
A person can read the entire encyclopedias, remember many facts, but it doesn’t make him or her a better person than other people. It may make him or her a better “tool” for a particular function however, but not a better person.
If that were not so, then there would not be so many exclusive rehabilitation centers around the world for the rich and famous.
