I'm following on ebay, and I am in many buy/sell groups on Facebook for Pokémon merch, but I'm a hardcore Pokémon collector, so if I paid full price for everything I purchased, I'd be either significantly more in debt, or I'd have a lot smaller of a collection.

I figured I'd check here because any time I've asked in the past, I've had good luck with someone willing to trade a game for my art, either one they own, or one they buy for me. I value my money more than my art, so I'd rather draw someone a $60+ drawing than pay $60 for an item, if that makes sense.

I've been searching for Red for a long time as well and finally gave in and bought one last night for $4 less than my max budget.. :P

I have the game in its plastic cartridge container, but I don't have the original box for it anymore. (Not sure if that counts, but the game and container are both in good condition.)

Nah, I need the outer cardboard box and the paper inserts that were originally included more than anything else!

Why not aim for a reproduction box? There's gotta be someone making them online.

I'm a collector of authentic Pokémon merch. I make exceptions for high quality unlicensed or fanmade items, but overall, I aim for original and authentic whenever possible. It's just what I like.

I live in a small town, unfortunately. All we have here is Gamestop, a Play N Trade, which is owned by a collector, so he keeps the best stuff for himself, which is not a bad thing, just that not too much boxed stuffed gets put out for sale unless it's something he already has. And then we have a flea market, which has a game reseller in it who goes and buys all the game related stuff before the flea market opens, and then sells it way overpriced. :/ If I got desperate, I could just buy it on ebay, but I'm just casually looking to trade for art atm.
