I had heard they were that size but very thick, like the size of four of the US pancakes and the UK used to make fun of us because ours were not pan "cakes" and how dare we call them pan cakes since theyre just flap jacks

Interesting. Watched a vid long ago that made fun of the US for not having large enough pan cakes because ours were super thin and the UK were actual cakes kinda like that vid I showed you
