Usually hospitals will work with you on a sliding scale without insurance. Some require a deposit, but most of the time, you can usually, usually pay bills off month by month. They can also sign you up for insurance, too, even free insurance.

He made a call to us, thankfully he's feeling a little better now but I'm sure he's gonna stay in the hospital for the night

Yea; a lot of people don't seem to know that! So long as you are paying something, as far as I am aware, they can't do much against you.

Sometimes they have a min amount, like $25, but I've paid $5 a month before.
