Too busy to post; also ANE!

Wow the last couple months have been crazy busy. Work has been super hectic, lots of other life obligations, you know the drill. No emergencies on my end (knock on wood), just lots of stress.
I have been making stuff when I am able, but have generally been too overworked to actually photograph and post anything. I've got some progress shots of a few projects I might throw up though.
One aspect of the business is I've enrolled in a pottery class, so that's siphoned off a good chunk of my available crafting time and energy. I'd done pottery back in high school, but it'd been like a decade since I'd had the chance to work with it. I've been making bonsai pots, as many as I possibly can. (Growing tiny trees is a long-running low-time-investment hobby of mine. Haven't really ever posted photos of my trees though. I'm proud of them but most will take another 5 years or so before they start looking good.)
I've had a bunch of requests for tails that I can't say yes to, and I feel bad about it. I I keep telling people that I hope to open for commissions soon, and every month it seems like I'm about to get stuff steadied out down to a manageable level, but it keeps not quite happening. And there were a couple custom design requests I thought I'd be able to do that I ended up falling through on. I feel bad about that too, but at the same this is why I don't take payment until after I've completed a project. It means if I end up being unable to complete it, I might owe someone an apology, but I don't owe anyone money or things I can't provide.
In more fun news, I'll be attending Anthro New England this weekend! I'm not dealing, just attending. I'll be wearing random assortments of my costume stuff and looking for people to meet. I did show up at ANE last year for a part of the weekend to test the waters, but this is the first time I've actually got a room and stuff, and am actually looking to meet and befriend people. If you're at the con, feel free to accost me and say hi! If you get me going I may end up talking your ear off about leather and lasers or teaching you chainmail or dragging you to go questing for dim sum or what have you.
