Back home! Lost my tablet pen

Hey y'all! I'm back from my vacation and I wanted to bring good news, but shit happened and I can't really be too excited rn.
The flight back was alright, everything's fine back home, BUT upon opening my bag I found an inspection notice. Probably cause my bag was pretty heavy or whatever. At first glance, everything seemed fine so I thought it was no big deal.. But soon enough I found my laptop and tablet out of their bag, and my tablet pen was nowhere to be found. c: I unpacked everything, looked inside every bag/pocket and shook all my clothes. It's gone.
So yeh I was actually really excited to get back to work soon, but first I'll need to buy a new pen. I'm really fucking upset about this, but all that aside I'm glad at least my laptop and tablet are fine, and only the pen got lost. My only worry is I'm kinda short on cash. I already have a bunch of stuff to pay for, and a tablet pen is not exactly cheap, so I might need to open a few commission slots up front so I can save up, and work on everything as soon as I have a new pen. The most frustrating thing about this is how carefully I packed everything to be safe during the flight, I had everything inside a proper laptop bag, and yet they managed to lose my pen somehow. I can call and complain all I want, they'll never find that thing again. I had travel insurance tho, so maybe I can get an indemnity?? Maybe they'll send me a new one??? Honestly, I doubt it, and I can't really afford to wait for their good will anyway.
But well, all that shit aside, I had a really good time during my break and I'm happy to be home again. I'll likely make a new journal soon if I need to offer those commissions, so keep an eye out.

Hey, what kind of tablet pen was it? Just a standard Wacom pen or something else?

It was the regular grip pen that came with my Intuos Pro. I've been looking for other possible replacement options but since my tablet model is a little old the most recent pens (like the Pro Pen 3D, which is better and even cheaper) are not compatible. I'll likely have to get a new grip pen anyway :/
