Just... pining for the fjords. Uhhh. Jk.
I accepted payment for a commish, then I got really, really sick for a few days. Very sure it must've been that 'Australian' flu going around, especially as many other people spoke of the same experience. I thought it'd be best if I went off IM's until I got better, then I kinda got in the habit of going off the radar, again. Sorry for making people worry!
Currently, I'm in the region of Andalucía visiting parents and (hopefully) attending a Smash tournament relatively close by. It's been really wet, super windy and quite stormy over the last couple days, which hasn't been the best, but it's been nice to be with Mam after so long. I will try to make progress on commishies while I'm here, cuz with snow disruption in UK it's pretty much driving work as soon as I return, so, blegh.
Speaking of UK, it's kinda silly I didn't announce this sooner, but I will be returning to Confuzzled this year, albeit for not as long with my roomie
baltocore again. The rooms got sweeped a lot sooner than we anticipated so we weren't able to get the extra days like we did last year, but at least we got complimentary mineral water and access to a boring suite upstairs. I'm hoping to find more groups of peeps and artists this time, and if anyone else had as much a hard-on and I did for the Melee clip they showed in last year's teaser, I may bring a setup for impromptu friendlies, round robin brackets and money matches or somethin like that. Lemme know if you're going as well so we can jam! :3
