Well, that was "fun"
So I recently found a cute bit of artwork in a Discord chat and decided to share it here.
First I did a search for keywords to see if it had already been submitted to FA so I could give credit and a link to the artist's FA page. There was a name written in the lower right hand corner of the piece but I couldn't tell if it was "Iguana Mouth" or "Icuana Mouth" or what the heck it was due to the way the second letter was written.
Doing a google search for the piece only brought it up on pinterest, which again doesn't give me any information about who originally uploaded it.
So I decided to upload the piece here and ask if anyone knew who the original artist was so I could give credit.
The sheer amount of hate that was spewed in the comments within the first hour alone was more than enough to convince me to delete the submission.
I did finally find the artist on Tumbler after typing "Iguanamouth" in google, all one word not two words like their signature in the piece indicated.
Bottom line: I see artwork submitted to Discord, Telegram and elsewhere all the time. Sometimes there is a link to the original artist's website. Most of the time there isn't.
I submit a piece of art here WITH a request for more information on it so I can give credit to the artist, and people think I'm an abomination, a plagiarist, a demon, etc.
Reminder to self: do not upload anything to FurAffinity ever again.

Unfortunately, those parasites are the most loud and annoying... You did nothing wrong...
You didn't try to claim the image/arts as your own. It was a sincere question because you
liked the art and wanted to know who made it so you could possibly find more of it... Right?
This is why we can't have nice things... SJWs ruin everything!!! *offers you a sincere hug*
