So, with taxes coming up, with being a fulltime artist, it presents it
own unique challenges! (Did you know 14% of the total art income
an artist makes in one year goes solely to the self-employment tax?
Yikes! And that's just that tax.) So, that just means I have to
try and work hard over the next month to give myself the space to
be a good, taxpaying citizen. Which means:
Look for slots and openings in future!
Help me. Help America. Build roads. N'stuff.
I've also been wanting to do a free raffle to reward all of my
patrons and followers to give back a little of the love you all
so generously give me.
I've already opened up for a Sona Revamp, so check it out, here.

I've always used turbotax in the past, but I may look elsewhere for the self-employment element, which is new.
With that said, if you do your taxes quarterly, which is recommended for freelance or small business owners, it'll make tax season so much easier next time ;w;
I was prepared to owe some taxes for sure, but I was only accounting for income tax.
The self-employment tax took me totally off guard. But, that's what I get for not doing
my research ahead of time OTL
Thank you for the suggestion, I will poke around at that one!
