You did an excellent job! I remember this film being the model that prompted me to ask the prettiest girl I knew in kindergarten if she would marry me. This was before I knew that I was gay, but hey, it was a wonderful, beautiful story. :)
Cute! ^_^ And, gay or straight, a lot about relationships is the same. Being good to your partner, not taking their affection for granted, treating each other as equals, et cetera.
